AFPP AND ATTORNEY GENERAL DAVE YOST
We are only 6 months away from the biggest election in our lifetime. You know the choices we have to make to Save America and now we need to work together to make sure it happens.
Please take a few minutes to find out how you can make the difference this November.

From Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost
With the recent antisemitic demonstrations on campuses around the country, I wrote a letter to Ohio's university presidents alerting them to a little-known Ohio law that could affect their students. A law passed in 1953 makes it a fourth-degree felony to engage in a criminal act with two or more people while wearing a mask or disguise. As I reminded these university presidents in my letter, the First Amendment is a shield against the government, not a sword against fellow students. You can read more in the Columbus Dispatch.
Yost sues Biden Over Title IX "Guidance"
I sued the Biden administration over its wholesale re-write of Title IX, which was meant to protect equal opportunity for women. Under the Biden administration’s overhaul of Title IX, women’s sports are no longer safe, and programs and facilities designed exclusively for women are now open to men who identify as women. You can read the lawsuit here.
There are those who issue press releases and those who fight. I'm in the fight.
Fallen Officers Memorial
Last week, I performed one of the most somber duties of my year: to lead the annual memorial of the officers who died in the line of duty. This year, we remembered nine servant-heroes and I had the honor of meeting their families. You can read about the fallen here.
Bernie Moreno and Sen. John Kennedy
Often referred to as the "good Kennedy," Sen. John Kennedy, R-LA, travelled to Ohio to support our candidates for the United States Senate, Bernie Moreno. His trademark sense of humor was turned up to "10" and Moreno brought the fire.
I was honored to be in the room and speak briefly in support of Bernie Moreno.
Bottom line: If we take back the White House, our president will need control of the Senate to staff his administration and the courts. Some progressives are already whispering about denying him a cabinet. If, heaven forbid, the current occupant wins reelection, we will need the Senate as a check and a balance on extremist appointees. Moreno for Senate!
Out and About
I was all over the state last week speaking with voters about my office’s continued fight against the Biden administration’s overreach. I spoke to the Toledo Rotary for their Law Day celebration, to the Clinton County Century Club dinner, to the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce about what it really means to be "pro-growth," to the Association of State Criminal Investigative Agencies, to the Richland County GOP lunch, and to the combined Stow, Hudson and Cuyahoga Falls Republican Clubs. Keep an eye out for when we will be in your area soon.
Yours in Liberty,
Dave Yost
